UBS is the latest financial institution to leave the Net-Zero Banking Alliance.

The bank, a founding member of the NZBA, says it has made the decision after an assessment of its sustainability related memberships. It gave no reason for the decision but said that its “commitment to sustainability remains unchanged and we recognize the importance of an orderly transition to a low-carbon economy”.
