Matt Lawton has been appointed as head of impact fixed income at T. Rowe Price.

Lawton was previously head of global impact credit strategy and global impact short duration bond strategy, roles he retains. He will report to Samy Maddi, the head of emerging markets in Baltimore.

Maddi said, “Lawton will be working in close collaboration with Willem Visser, sector portfolio manager for emerging markets and impact fixed income, and more broadly with our responsible investing, impact equity, and fixed income research teams.”
