MSCI has appointed Dr. Richard Mattison as head of ESG and Climate.

Mattison will be responsible for leading the firm’s ESG and climate product development and business strategy and will report to Alvise Munari, chief product officer at MSCI. Previously, he was president of S&P Global’s sustainability unit.
