UBS Asset Management has become the leading European asset manager for ESG related funds under management.
A new report from Morningstar Sustainalytics shows that UBS AM had $177bn of assets in EU-domiciled green funds at the end of June. The firm is now second only to BlackRock globally that has $301bn in ESG related funds. Much of the increase in UBS AM’s ESG holdings come from the takeover of Credit Suisse in March 2023. Behind UBS AM are Amundi, DWS and BNP Paribas AM.
Net flows into European sustainable funds rose to $11.8bn in Q2 2024, up from $8.4bn in the first quarter of the year.
