Goldman Sachs to leave Climate Action 100+

Goldman Sachs funds say they will leave the Climate Action 100+ group.

The move follows a string of other departures by fund management groups over the past year after US law makers suggested some funds may be breaking antitrust laws in their investment decisions. Other companies to leave this year include Invesco, JPMorgan and State Street Global Advisors.

Goldman said in a statement, “We’ve made investments in our ability to meet the sustainable investing needs of our clients and remain committed to leveraging our global capabilities.”
