Abrdn names new chief sustainability officer

Abrdn has named the firm’s new chief sustainability officer following the departure of Amanda Young.

Dan Grandage, formerly head of sustainable investing at the firm, has been promoted to the role. He will be responsible for Abrdn’s global sustainable and active ownership strategy. Amanda Young left the role in April of this year.

Peter Branner, chief investment officer at Abrdn, said,  “I am delighted to have Dan in this critical role as we navigate the evolving sustainable investing landscape.”
