Pictet Alternative Advisors has launched the Pictet Private Assets SICAV – Environment Co-Investment Fund I.

The fund offers investors exposure to environmental technology investments across private markets and will consist of 20-25 investments originated through Pictet’s network of around 90 relationships with private equity managers.

The strategy implements the Planetary Boundaries scientific framework and targets investment opportunities across five segments: greenhouse gas reduction; sustainable consumer; pollution control; the circular economy; and enabling technology. It is led by Pierre Stadler, Head of Thematics PE, and Nicolas Thomas, Thematics Principal.

The strategy will be classified as an article 8 fund under SFDR (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation).
