Mirza Baig has been appointed to the new role of global head of ESG at Aviva Investors.

Baig will be responsible for leading the firm’s ESG strategy and bringing together the different ESG-focused teams working across the firm. He will report directly to Chief Executive Mark Versey.

Mirza’s promotion is just reward for the role he has played in driving our ESG agenda, accelerating the integration of ESG into our investment process, the build-out of our sustainable outcomes franchise and enhancing our active engagement programme.”
