As of Dec. 31, 2021, Northern Trust has reduced their emissions by more than 69 percent and reduced their energy consumption by more than 46 percent.
Northern Trust has made the commitment to be net-zero carbon by 2050, using their 2019 baseline. The firm has also launched eight new exchange-traded funds that use the new Northern Trust ESG Vector Score™ to assess climate risk.
