Schroders has expanded its sustainable fund range with the launch of new sustainable bond and thematic offerings.
The bond fund offers investors exposure to global fixed income markets including corporates and sovereigns and targets countries making progress towards meeting UN Sustainable Development Goals. The fund will integrate the firm’s proprietary SustainEx tool to ESG score sovereign and supranational issuers as well as corporates. The fund aims to deliver a total return of 2.5% per annum over the ICE BofA Sterling three-month Government Bill index.
Schroders has also added the Digital Infrastructure Fund, a UK unit trust investing companies which own sustainable infrastructure for the digital economy. This will be achieved by focusing on areas such as; fibre-optic cables, macro towers, data centres and small cells. It will be managed by Hugo Machin and Tom Walker.
