Research group InfluenceMap has published how well global portfolios in the asset management sector are aligned with the Paris agreement.
According to InfluenceMap, from a list of over 200 global asset managers, Capital Impact Advisors in the US have the greatest portfolio alignment with the Paris criteria at 60%. The percentage is defined as the total production or output by technology which an equivalent Paris-aligned portfolio would own in five years as prescribed by IEA Beyond 2 Degrees Scenario.
Other companies with the highest scores include AIFM Capital in Sweden (59%), Guide Investimentos in Brazil (32%) and Southesatern Asset Management in the US (25%).
Companies with the lowest scores include Daishin in South Korea (-91%), Zhongtai Sec Sh in China (-61%), and Gruppo PFM (-56%).
