American Century Investments has hired Sarah Bratton Hughes as head ESG and sustainable investing.

Hughes will be responsible for American Century’s sustainable investing strategy and the management of its ESG research platform and active ownership practices. She will also lead the ESG and Investment Stewardship team at the firm. Previously, Hughes was the global head of sustainability solutions with Schroders.
