Oaktree Capital Management has announced the appointment of Priya Prasad Bowe as head of ESG.

Prasad Bowe joined Oaktree in 2019 as a credit product specialist focused on private and multi-strategy credit and will now lead Oaktree’s ESG Governance Committee and manage the firm’s ESG efforts globally. She will report to Co-Chairman and Chief Investment Officer Bruce Karsh.

“Priya’s appointment reinforces Oaktree’s ESG commitment and will help ensure we remain well positioned for the future,” says Mr. Karsh. “This move reflects Oaktree’s belief that ESG considerations are central – not ancillary – to every part of our business.”
