JP Morgan AM launches carbon transition ETF

JPM Asset Management has launched the JPMorgan Carbon Transition Global Equity ETF.

The fund will be run by Yazann Romahi and Aijaz Hussain and aims to reduce carbon emissions and invest in opportunities and technologies contributing to the transition to low carbon. It will track the JPMorgan Asset Management Carbon Transition Global Equity Index.

JPMAM says at least 30% less carbon intensity than the MSCI World index, and a year-on-year de-carbonisation target of at least 7%, which is in line with the EU Climate Transition Benchmark.

The ETF will be listed on the London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana and Deutsche Börse Xetra, with a total expense ratio of 19 basis points.
