Barclays adds to ESG teams

Barclays has expanded its ESG teams in its investment banking division.

Justin Peagram joins the Sustainable and Impact Banking team, and will focus on sustainable energy and other emerging growth areas. He joins from the Natural Resources Banking team, where he spent the past 13 years covering clients in the upstream, midstream and infrastructure sectors.

Amit Chandra, a Managing Director in Equity Capital Markets, is leading Barclays’ Equity Capital Markets Sustainable and Impact Banking effort in the Americas.

Greg Cass and Atul Jhavar, Directors in Debt Capital Markets, join the team led by Susan Barron, Global Head of Green & Sustainable Capital Markets, to run Barclays’ green, social and sustainability debt financing business for investment grade clients in the Americas and Asia-Pacific, respectively.

Alex Dyroff and Eldar Pius will serve as ESG ambassadors within Barclays’ Leveraged Finance business in the Americas and in Europe and the Middle East, respectively.
