Standard Ethics has launched two new ESG utilities indices covering European markets.
The SE European Utilities Index and the SE European Multi-Utilities Index apply the Standard Ethics RatingĀ® to the 30 largest listed utility and the 15 largest listed multi-utility companies in Europe.
The 30 components of the SE European Utilities Index and have been selected from among the largest European listed companies operating in the field of utilities. The companies were selected according to their market capitalization, as well as the amount of floating shares.
The 15 components of the SE European Multi-Utilities Index have been selected from among European companies operating in at least two areas of business related to the provision of essential public services: waste (waste management and/or environmental services), water (water resource management) and energy (electricity and gas supply). The selection was made on the basis of market capitalization.
