Only 26% of fixed income investors have a clear approach to responsible investing according to a survey by NN Investment Partners.
The survey found that 49% of investors have a clearly defined RI approach for equities, while only 26% have for fixed income. However, investors across the board have plans to improve in this area. It also found that seven out of 10 investors believe shareholders can positively influence companies, while 65% believe this is harder for bondholders. 64% of investors find it hard to establish how ‘green’ some products really are.
