Dutch fund manager Actiam will launch a new sustainable emerging market debt fund.

The ACTIAM (L) Sustainable EMD fund, managed by Ruben Smit and Pim Burggraeve, will focus on sustainable factors such as human rights and the environment as well as adhering to the firm’s socio-ethical investment standards. The fund will invest in emerging market sovereign euro and dollar fixed income instruments.

The launch follows the launch of the firm’s Sustainable Euro Fixed Income fund this year which has seen inflows of €2.9 billion to date.
