Accenture has been placed first in Revinitv’s Diversity and Inclusion Index Top 100 for 2019.
The index ranks the top 100 most diverse and inclusive companies using 24 metrics from Refinitiv’s ESG database. Covering 7000 companies, the index looks at four ESG related factors: Diversity, Inclusion, People Development and News controversies. The Index is calculated by weighing each metric based on importance in the market and how each company compares with its peers. Industries leading this year’s index include 13 pharmaceutical firms; 11 banking, investment services & insurance; 9 telecommunications services; 7 personal & household products & services. The US leads the Top 100 list with 25 firms followed by United Kingdom 10 and Australia 9.
