BNY Mellon Investment Management has launched a sustainable global equity income fund, managed by Newton Investment Management’s Nick Clay and Rob Stewart, head of responsible and charity investment.
The BNY Mellon Sustainable Global Equity Income fund comprises a portfolio of less than 70 stocks all screened using Newton’s proprietary sustainability scoring. BNY Mellon says the fund could include stocks with low ESG scores that have room for improvement via engagement practices. BNY Mellon already has four other sustainable funds covering equity and fixed income.
