Blackrock has said it plans to integrate ESG into all of its portfolios by the end of 2020.

Speaking at the Morningstar Investment Conference, CEO Larry Fink says the firm will make 100% of its portfolios integrate ESG metrics by year end, up from 70% at the end of April. It will also publish data on the impact of climate change.

Fink said, “As we sit here today, we have raging fires. We have a hurricane. We have five tropical storms in the Atlantic. We have had record heat throughout the world. We are seeing more and more examples of how climate change is becoming investment risk.“
