A survey by RBC Global Asset Management has shown that 70% of institutional investors in the US, Canada and the UK use ESG principles as part of their investment process. Investors are now also citing the positive performance impact as the major reason for incorporating ESG. Cyber security ranks as the most important ESG issue for institutional investors surveyed.
