MSCI will licence ESG data to ICE for its index construction offerings.
The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) Data Services say they will use MSCI’s ESG data for the construction of its fixed income indexes. The exchange also plans to launch futures on the the MSCI EAFE ESG Leaders Index, MSCI Emerging Markets ESG Leaders Index, MSCI Europe ESG Leaders Index, MSCI USA ESG Leaders Index, MSCI World ESG Leaders Index and the MSCI USA Climate Change Index on ICE Futures US in Q4 of this year.
