Research house Square Mile will separate ESG from responsible investing in its fund ratings.
The research house says it would be bringing in ESG integration scores across its analysis of asset managers and funds who will receive a score from 0 to 3 depending on how involved ESG is to their investment process. The firm has also launched responsible investing ratings where funds are ranked on their sustainability aims by excluding companies or by creating a positive impact.
