Swiss Life Asset Managers has launched a private infrastructure fund for both private and institutional investors.
The fund will invest in a portfolio of around 40 infrastructure companies across OECD countries focusing on sectors such as renewable energy, energy and utilities, communications, transport, and social infrastructure. These will include companies involved in wind and solar parks, hydropower plants, recycling companies, data centres, fibre networks, district heating networks, railway wagons and private hospitals.
The fund launch is Swiss Life Asset Managers’ first open-ended private infrastructure fund. The fund is actively managed without reference to an index.
