Apex Group has announced a collaboration with BlackRock’s eFront to provide private markets with ESG data services.

The partnership will provide general partners with Apex’s services and eFront’s technology to feed ESG data into eFront’s ESG Outreach. This provides private market investors with data for ESG reporting. The Apex ESG platform was launched in 2019 for private markets to quantify their ESG performance. Apex says the partnership will help bolster the creation of a private market benchmark for ESG metrics, and ultimately help further the standardization of ESG data for private markets.
