S&P Global Market Intelligence has announced the integration of Trucost climate data into its research tools.

The portfolio analysis tool incorporates ClariFI®, the quantitative research tool, with Trucost climate data. S&P says the new tools will enable investment professionals to incorporate carbon emissions and climate analysis in constructing their portfolios. This will allow them to develop investment strategies, asses the carbon footprint of their portfolios and easily identify climate related risks at the portfolio, sector and company level.
