JP Morgan Asset Management has announced it is increasing its ESG coverage of companies.

The firm made the announcement at its investor day this week and includes increasing its engagement with companies, especially around the issue of climate change. Jennifer Wu, head of sustainability at the firm said the initiative also includes the development of proprietary ESG scoring applying artificial intelligence and natural language processing techniques to assess corporate sustainability disclosures.
