Hargreaves Lansdown adopts responsible investment framework

Hargreaves Lansdown has adopted the Investment Association’s definitions for responsible investments.

The Responsible Investment Framework came into effect on 1 January 2020 and provides investors with an industry language for responsible investment with definitions for product categorisation. The Framework requires asset managers to identify which of their funds should be classified as having responsible investment characteristics. The categories included are stewardship, ESG integration, exclusions, sustainability focus, and impact investing.
