DBS says it is the first bank in South East Asia to sign up to The Equator Principles which set out environmental and social standards for development projects.

The move means the bank will commit to greater disclosure with regards to large infrastructure developments it is involved in funding. The Equator Principles are based on standards set out by the International Finance Corporation.
